Ticket to game supports leagues

Columbia City residents are invited to support the local youth baseball and softball leagues by attending Columbia City night at the TinCaps.
A block of seats at Parkview Field have been set aside for Columbia City people for the June 14 game against the Dayton Dragons. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Event offers work of local artists

COLUMBIA CITY — Than Bouttel says art makes him happy, and through his photographs he likes to make other people happy too.
Connie Brockup finds that art is good relaxation and likes to paint most of all.
Robin Elsner likes to re-create what she sees in nature — flowers, birds, rainbows, trees.
Through Passages’ art program these clients and many others get the chance to use their artistic talents, and on March 17, they are selling their works of art during the “Paintings, Pickles and Patrick” fundraiser.
