COLUMBIA CITY – It may have taken a second half comeback and an overtime to take the lead, but the Columbia City Eagle boys’ soccer team used increased second half pressure to accomplish both to take a 2-1 Northeast Hoosier Conference win over the visiting New Haven Bulldogs Monday night at Max Gandy Athletic Field.
For a great deal of the first half, the ball was played in the Eagle end of the field with the Bulldogs notching the first goal of the contest when the Eagles misplayed a ball that left it in front of the Columbia City net.
