COLUMBIA CITY — Today is a big day for Koby Watkins, a sixth grader at Indian Springs Middle School. It’s his birthday — on the 12th day of the 12th month, in the year 2012.
And yes, he is turning 12. The only way to round of this occasion would be if Koby was born at 12:12. However, he was a couple of minutes behind on that mark, being born at 12:17 a.m.
Koby is the son of Jamie Carlson and Brooks Watkins and the stepson of Billy Carlson and Shannon Watkins. He has a younger brother, Preston, who is 8.
