COLUMBIA CITY — A Pierceton woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated Friday night after she caused an accident in northern Whitley County.
Vickie Krom, 60, pulled into the intersection of Ind. 109 and CR 500 N. when her vehicle was struck by oncoming traffic.
Dora Arispe, a passenger of the victimized car, was the only one injured. The North Carolina resident was transported to Parkview Whitley with head injuries.
