IN COURT: Man admits to family meth-making

COLUMBIA CITY— A Columbia City man pleaded guilty Monday to supplying his son with ingredients for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Jay B. Greer, 56, was pleaded guilty to aiding in the manufacture of methamphetamine, a Class B felony.

That crime carries a sentence of 6 to 20 years.

As part of a plea agreement, Greer will have five other charges against him dismissed, but sentencing will be entirely at the discretion of Whitley County Circuit Court Judge James Heuer.

Greer will be sentenced Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
