COLUMBIA CITY â€” A local man was arrested Thursday evening after a package containing 3/4 pounds of marijuana was delivered to his home.
Tony Dewitt of Columbia City was arrested for possession of the drug, shipped from California by the United States Postal Service.

CANI (Community Action of Northeast Indiana) is making appointments for energy assistance for all of its offices in Allen, DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties.
The program runs November 1, 2011 through May 15, 2012. Applicants must meet income levels:
â€˘Â· One-person household â€“ No more than $16,245 annually.
â€˘Â· Two-person household â€“ No more than $21,855 annually.
â€˘Â· Three-person household â€“ No more than $27,465 annually
â€˘Â· Four-person household â€“ No more than $33,075 annually
â€˘Â· Add $5,610 for each additional family member.
