COLUMBIA CITY – The Whitley County Consolidated Schools Board of Trustees voted Monday to dissolve the current Huntington-Whitley Special Services Cooperative.
Talks of this course of action have been ongoing and Dr. Patricia O’Connor re-iterated the need for the district to become its own entity.

COLUMBIA CITY – Junior Achievement school year instruction gets underway in Whitley County Oct. 3 and 90 classrooms are prepared for volunteers to visit for five weeks.
The volunteers of JA are dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
