CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco Junior-Senior High School finally has a new choir teacher. The school corporation recently welcomed Travis Carie, from South Bend.
Carie has a master of music education degree from Western Michigan University and a bachelor of music education degree from Indiana State University. He carried a 3.93 GPA out of a 4.0 scale.

CHURUBUSCO – It’s been in the works for more than a year but the lights on the new sign welcoming folks to Churubusco are now beckoning.
PNC bank donated $19,000 and gave the land to the Town of Churubusco. It sits at the corner of Main and Whitley streets.

PIERCETON — In an effort to provide the best educational facilities possible, the Whitko Community School Corporation board of trustees discussed the developing stages of a 25-year plan for all four locations within the corporation at Monday evening’s monthly meeting.

The Columbia City High School senior with the infectious smile strives to brighten the lives of everyone around her, despite living in her own world that fell silent when she was 16 months old.
