LARWILL – The Moody Chorale, conducted by Dr. Xiangtang Hong of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, will be performing Friday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at West Etna Community Church near Larwill.
West Etna Community Church is located at 6552W-750N in northwest Whitley County.
Founded in 1946, the Moody Chorale has long been established as one of the leading collegiate choral organizations in the United States, specializing in sacred music.

100+ JOBS: Impact CNC coming to Gateway Park

COLUMBIA CITY — Production machining company Impact CNC, LLC, announced plans late Wednesday to invest $12.8 million to purchase and equip a new facility at Gateway Park in Whitley County.
The facility, a 30,000 square-foot building, is expected to be operational as early as February and create up to 106 jobs in Columbia City by 2014.
Whitley County Economic Development Corporation President Alan Tio said Jerry Busche, founder and president of Impact CNC, has been looking to get the project off the ground for approximately nine months.

EDC: Solstice bringing jobs to Whitley County

COLUMBIA CITY — Solstice Medical, LLC announced in a statement today the company is locating its operations at a new, state-of-the-art facility in Park 30 Business Center.
The company anticipates adding 10 to 15 new jobs by the middle of 2013.
The new facility will position Solstice Medical, which manufactures and installs radio frequency identification technology (RFID) and software systems globally for medical device manufacturers, distributors and hospitals, to meet growing product and service demands from across the country.
