EARLY VOTING: 300 ballots cast in first three days

October 13, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — Absentee voters are coming out in full swing to cast their ballots for this year’s general election.
According to the Clerk of Circuit Court, Debbie Beers, absentee voters in this year’s primary totaled only 487 voters, but with absentee voting open as of this week, the general election number is already close as it continues to climb daily.
“So far this week, we have had 300 voters in the first three days,” said Beers. “When the voters come out to vote, all the preparation and hard work put into running the election is truly worth it.”
