Mindi Hoffman will join Greg Hockemeyer as emcee the program which is slated for Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.
WHITLEY COUNTY â€” Two Republicans have put their names on the list in hopes to fill the Whitley County Auditorâ€™s position.
Whitley County Republican Precinct Committeemen will hold a caucus Wednesday at 7 p.m. to fill the position of County Auditor.

SOUTH WHITLEY â€” The Columbia City Eagle and the Whitko Wildcat football teams renewed the battle for the Eel River Trophy Friday night at the Wildcatsâ€™ Ryan Huff Field.
In a stark reversal of last weekâ€™s grind-it-out ground attack, the Eagles used a potent aerial attack to put the Wildcats in a 22-point first-quarter hole on their way to a 43-20 win.
COLUMBIA CITY â€” Columbia City Rotary Club members learned about Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana at the clubâ€™s Tuesday luncheon meeting in the community room at Parkview Whitley Hospital. Linda Bewley, outreach coordinator for the agency, began her presentation by asking how many in her audience had been touched by cancer or knew someone who had been afflicted. Every hand in the room was raised.
