Council considers demolition ordinance

December 3, 2013

While there are a number of ordinances and regulations for constructing buildings, there may be a need for city ordinances regarding demolition.

A permit must be obtained before a building can be torn down, but Simpson’s concern lies with the citizens, as there aren’t regulations for safety or timetables for when the demolition needs to be cleaned up.
