Kenneth E. Dammeyer, 73, a resident of rural Churubusco, passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 17, 2010 at the family residence in Smith Township. He had been in declining health for some time, and had been seriously ill since January.
Mr. Dammeyer was born Jan. 2, 1937 in St. Mary’s, Ohio, a son of Leon and Ada (Moeller) Dammeyer. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1955, and as a young man served with the U.S. Army National Guard.
Lenville Fitch, 59, of Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Martin, Ky., was born July 10, 1951 in Floyd County, Ky. to the late Phillip and Alka Blevins Fitch. He passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio following an extended illness.
He was a disabled auto factory worker.
Faye L. Wright, 87, Marion, died at 7:40 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 in her daughter’s residence in Marion.
She was born in Whitley County to the late Loren and Philena (Brubaker) Hodson and lived in Florida since 1984. She was a 1941 graduate of Coesse High School and was valedictorian of her class.
Arthur E. Loe, 74, of Columbia City, died Friday evening, Aug. 13, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital of Eau Claire, Wis. where he was admitted July 31.
He was born Feb. 24, 1936 in Columbia City, a son of James E. and Sarah Jane Olive (DeWitt) Loe. As a young boy, his family moved to the Roanoke area. He graduated from Roanoke High School in 1954. In 1955 he moved to Larwill. On Jan. 14, 1959, he was inducted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged as Corporal Dec. 31, 1964.
