FORT WAYNE — Richard H. Horstmeyer, 83, died at Parkview Hospital, Oct. 26, 2011.
He is a son of the late Paul and Helen Horstmeyer, born April 1, 1928, in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Barbara Ann (Huber) Horstmeyer; four sons Rick (Kathleen), Gregg (Joyce), Kirk, and Markus (Judy); a brother Robert Horstmeyer (Ann); nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Joyce Meyers and Carol Bair.
The funeral will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. at Our Hope Lutheran Church, Huntertown.
Rex Charles Humbarger, 82, of Tavares, Fla., died, Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, Fla.
Born Nov. 21, 1928, in Celina, Ohio, he was the son of the late Noah and Hazel Humbarger.
The U.S. Army veteran was a member of Holiday Mobile Park Boat Club.
He retired in 1994 as the owner/operator of King Foods after 34 years.
