Arthur L. Ramsey, 75, a resident of Blue Lake near Churubusco and well-known area businessman, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne. He had been in declining health for some time and had entered the nursing home in January.
Mr. Ramsey was born in Fort Wayne March 25, 1935, a son of Amos Edward and Hilda Erma (Gomoll) Ramsey, and spent his formative years there. As a young man he served with the U.S. Navy, and was married Dec. 15, 1956 to Marilyn M. Myers. The couple lived in Fort Wayne for a period until moving to Churubusco in 1966.
Connie J. Lewis, 69, of Greenfield, passed away Feb. 16, 2011 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born April 2, 1941 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Max and Guinevere (Collingwood) Lewis.
Survivors include a sister, Marcia Ann Cole and a brother, Steve Lewis.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Danny Cury officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to service. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
