James W. Tomlinson, Sr., 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 8:45 a.m. March 3, 2011, at North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion. Born Dec. 2, 1935, he was a son of Wesley and Amy (Helmes) Tomlinson.
He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1967. He was married to the late Ellen (Genda) Herendeen.
Survivors include his daughters, Debra Dellinger and Shelley Mawhorter; son, Robert Tomlinson; sister, Celia Miller; step-sons, Walter Herendeen and John Herendeen.
