Betty L. Rubrake McKibbin, 84, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20 at Borgess Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, Mich.
Betty was born Oct. 9, 1927, to Lawrence E. and Pearl Blew Rubrake, one of the familyâ€™s 16 children.
Betty worked as a bookkeeper for C.W. Schrader Auto in Columbia City, Grace P. Pauley Clothing Store in St. Joseph and R & M Heating & Cooling in Coloma.
Betty married Dale McKibbin on July 31, 1954, and to them was born two sons, Mark (Amy) McKibbin of Plainwell and Brian McKibbin of Muskegon.
SOUTH WHITLEY â€” Robert W. Craft Jr., 89, of South Whitley, died at 3:23 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne where he was admitted on Sunday.
He was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Detroit, a son of Robert W. and Margaret (Allen) Craft. He graduated from high school in Detroit and continued his education.
On Sept. 14, 1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was honorably discharged Nov. 8, 1945.
On March 3, 1954, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged March 2, 1958.
Margaret (Fisher) Cavanaugh, 55, of Lafayette, formerly of Whitley County, died at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital. Born June 5, 1956, in Muncie, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Dorothy Williams Fisher.
She was a 1981 graduate of Purdue University and was a Food Services Director for 20 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, her granddaughter, her cat, and helping the mentally handicapped.
Ray Knox, 96

Ray B. Knox, 96, a resident of Fort Wayne and a retired missionary, passed away at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at the Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 28, 1915, a son of Ernest and Nellie (Hatmaker) Knox.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The surviving relatives include his widow, DeVere Knox; two daughters, Louise Linnemeier of rural Fort Wayne and Lucy Wallace of Berryville, Ark.; a sister, Ruth Meade of Three Rivers Mich.; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Regina Frazier, 89

Regina Mary Frazier, 89, a resident of rural Fort Wayne and wife of prominent Lake Township farmer George W. Frazier, died at 10:03 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 1, 1922, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Molargik) Konger.
Diane Bratton, 41

KIMMEL â€” Diane M. Bratton, 41, of rural Kimmell, died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne where she was admitted Nov. 23.
She was born March 22, 1970, in Columbia City, a daughter of Roger T. and Toni G. (Butt) Lemon.
Her formative years were spent in Washington Township, Noble County. She graduated from West Noble High School and Fairfield Vocational Cosmetology School.
On Nov. 2, 1991, she was united in marriage to Brian J. Bratton. They always made their home in rural Kimmell.
Ruth Schrader, 101

WARSAW â€” Ruth L. Schrader, 101, of Warsaw, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor where she had been a resident since Dec. 27, 2000.
She was born Oct. 21, 1910, in Furnace County, Nebraska, a daughter of Minard and Estelle (Coplen) Gates.
At the age of 13, her family moved to Indiana, settling in Pierceton. She graduated with the class of 1929 from Pierceton High School.
On Feb. 6, 1930, she was united in marriage to Carl J. Schrader.
Helen Rowe, 81

COLUMBIA CITY â€” Helen Rowe, 81, Columbia City, formerly of South Whitley, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 in her residence.
She was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Royalton, Ky. to Hargis and Carsie (Salyers) Marshall.
She married Rev. Dudley Rowe Sr, who preceded her in death.
Willodean Lyons, 92

Willodean Alice Lyons, 92, of Huntington, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Oakbrook Village Nursing Home, Huntington.
Born March 27, 1919, in Columbia City, the daughter of Raymond Earl and Francis Marie (Nei) Schrader.
She spent her childhood in Columbia City where she graduated from Columbia City High School with the class of 1938.
On June 30, 1941, she married Robert M. Lyons in Kentucky. She lived all of her married life in Huntington.
KENNEBUNK, MAINE â€” E. Lynn Wilkinson, 67, of Kennebunk, Maine, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at his residence in Kennebunk.
He was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Sturgis, Mich., the only child of Ellis Chester Wilkinson and Lillian â€śBerniceâ€ť Brown.
Following a stay in Monroe, Mich. thru the end of World War II, the family returned to the general area of Whitley County, where he graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the class of 1962.
