Garold E. Geisleman, 86, of Columbia City, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Millers Merry Manor in Columbia City.
Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Everette and Artabel Geisleman.
The World War II Army veteran retired from Slater Steel after 43 years of service. He was also a farmer.
Melvin L. Fouts Jr., 59, of Columbia City, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at his home. He had been in failing health.
He was born June 6, 1953, in Huntington, a son of Melvin Leon and Lena Jane (Waters) Fouts.
In 1964, his family moved to Pierceton, where he completed his education. In the 1980s he moved to Columbia City.
Melvin worked part time at the YMCA.
His church membership was with Columbia City United Methodist Church.
Arnold Souder, Jr., originally of Columbia City, died Dec. 10, 2012, at his residence in Sante Fe, N.M.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1923, to Edna (Baker) and Arnold Souder, Sr. in Columbia City.
He grew up in Columbia City, graduating high school in 1941 and attending nearby Manchester College that fall.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in 1943, enrolling in the Army Specialized Training Program in medicine at Indiana University.
