Gerald R. Mansdorfer, 76 of Liberty Township, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 10:06 a.m.
He was born in Jefferson Township on Jan. 26, 1936, the son of Marguerite and Raymond Mansdorfer.
Gerald was a quality assurance supervisor for the Department of Defense for 27 years.
He was a member of Jefferson Chapel Methodist Church.
On Sept. 16, 1956, Gerald married Donna (DeBolt) Mansdorfer.
James L. Lawrence, 73, of Whitley County, died on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 in Pensacola, Fla.
He was born July 19, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Richard and Florence (Lytle) Lawrence.
He was a devoted Christian and member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church Lake Township. He was a humble man and his strong faith led his life.
We will never forget his solitary love for his family. The Air Force veteran was a crew chief while stationed in France.
COLUMBIA CITY — Ruth O. Ross, 94, of Columbia City, passed away at 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor Inc., Columbia City.
Born Feb. 9, 1918, in Jelloway, Knox County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles E. Birkhold and Onata Zoe (Snellenberger) Birkhold-Jeffery.
She graduated from Paulding High School, Ohio with the class of 1936.
On Jan. 6, 1936, she married Francis W. Ross in Hillsdale, Mich.
