Phillip Hatfield, 64

Phillip Hatfield died Monday, May 14, 2012.
He was born Feb. 10, 1948, the son of James and Virginia Hatfield of Columbia City.
Hatfield served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Imler) Hatfield, previously of Columbia City; son, Joseph Hatfield of LaPorte; daughter, Mindy Deardurff of Chesterton; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis and James Jr., along with 17 nieces and nephews.

Eva McCormick, 91

Eva M. McCormick, 91, a resident of Churubusco and formerly of rural Avilla, died at 4:05 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, in the emergency room at Parkview Whitley Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1921, a daughter of James Emitt and Mabel (Sloan) Smith.
On Nov. 27, 1939, she was married to Clarence G. McCormick, Sr.
Mr. McCormick preceded her in death on April 8, 1997.

Jean Tschantz, 64

Jean Ann Tschantz, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 1:59 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
Born May 28, 1947, in Huntington, she was the daughter of Carl Raymond and Lois Maxine (Deal) Bruch.
She graduated from Clear Creek High School with the class of 1965 and attended business college in Indianapolis.
On Oct. 11, 1969, she married John F. Tschantz in Warren. She lived in Goblesville until 1969; moving from South Whitley in the mid-70s to her current Fort Wayne home.
