NEW HAVEN — Allen L. Plasterer, 79, of New Haven, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Golden Years Homestead where he had been a resident since 2009.
He was born Feb. 13, 1933, in Fort Wayne, a son of Richard W. and Myrtle (Lee) Plasterer.
On Feb. 1, 1952, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War.
On Jan. 29, 1983, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline L. Ramp.
