Terry L. Farber, 61, of Columbia City, died at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at his home. He had been in failing health.
He was born Aug. 25, 1950, at the Luckey Hospital in Wolf Lake, a son of Lawrence E. and Ruby L. (Hearld) Farber.
A member of the class of 1968 from Columbia City High School, he graduated from IPFW with a degree in Engineering.
On June 15, 1967, he was united in marriage to Marold A. Jackson. They have always made their home in the Columbia City area, moving to their present home in 1996.
Lois Evelyn Baker, 91, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Parkview Oaks, Columbia City.
Born Oct. 16, 1920, in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Charles C. and Eletha M. (Egolf) Nichols.
She has resided her entire life in the Whitley County area, attending Thorncreek Center Elementary School and Columbia City High School.
On March 22, 1947, she married Ralph E. Baker in Syracuse. She worked at Gripco, South Whitley, and retired April 1983, after 21 years of service as a shipping clerk.
Terry L. Farber, 61, of Columbia City, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at his home.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Marold and two children, Erika Pickett and Jeffrey Farber.
Arrangements are being completed at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

Ashton Kenzie Brown, daughter of Tyler Guy Brown and Taylor Margaret Rethlake, was stillborn at 4:39 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Parkview Whitley Hospital.
Surviving relatives include grandparents, Marc and Kim Brown and Mark and Julie Rethlake, all of Columbia City and great grandparents, Sue West of Florida, Rose Rodocker of Fort Wayne, Tom and Jeanne Rethlake, Carol and Jim Nolan and Gary and Emily Deutsch, all of Columbia City.
Great-grandparents preceding Ashton were Guy Brown, Marilyn Biesada, Robert and Marian Moore and Lee and Jo Rodocker.
Annabelle â€śBelleâ€ť Washburn, 74, died Aug. 9, 2012, at her home in Lakeland, Fla. where she had lived since 2008.Â She was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Kansas City, Mo., to Joseph and Beatrice Jenkinson, who later moved to Fort Wayne and Columbia City.
A graduate of Columbia City High School and Indiana University, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She lived in California for 30 years (Atherton, Redwood City and Petaluma) before moving to Indianapolis in 2001.
Glenn Wolfe, 80, of Florida, died July 22, 2012, in Tampa.
He was born June 13, 1932, in Columbia City, a son of Noah and Rosella (Shilts) Wolfe. He graduated from Columbia City High School in 1950.
During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Joyce; four stepsons and two sisters, Evelyn Albertson of Warsaw and Betty Mink of South Whitley.
The burial took place at the Bushnell Military Cemetery in Tampa.
Eleanor Jean Gordon, 86, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. She was born November 14, 1925, in Tampa, Fla., to Arthur Gilbert Lester and Mona Lester.
Eleanor worked as an FBI file clerk during World War II, a cook at Huntertown Schools and retired from Magnavox in Ft. Wayne.
Gerald â€śJerryâ€ť M. Cowan, 82, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, Jerry grew up in Whitley County and worked for International Harvester and Rea Magnet Wire, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, Past Commander and Life Member of American Legion Post 409, Leo, 50 year member of Leo Lodge No. 224 F.& A.M., Mizpah Shrine, Scottish Rite and charter and life member of the Mizpah Antique Power Club.
Jerry enjoyed family gatherings, carving, woodworking, fishing and euchre.
Donna J. (Armer) Mooney, 59, resident of Tri-Lakes, and formerly of Albion, died on Monday, Aug. 13, peacefully with family by her side, at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Mooney had been in declining health for the last year.
She was born on Nov. 8, 1952, in King City, Calif., and was the daughter of Dorothy (Shankle) and Zelbert Lee Armer.
She graduated high school in 1971, in Paso Robles, Calif., and married Barry Mooney in June, 1973. He passed away in 2002.
Dorothy Pastore, 79, of Bluffton, died at 3:34 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Lawton, Okla., the daughter of Ernest M. and Mildred L. (Reach) Nottingham. She married Nicholas A. Pastore on July 18, 1953. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
