J.D. Geiger, 82

J.D. Geiger, 82, of North Webster, died at 11:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Mason Health and Rehab in Warsaw. He was born on Sept. 7, 1929, in Noble County, to Adrian M. and Mary R. (Birch) Geiger.
He was a lifetime Noble and Kosciusko County resident. He graduated in 1947 from Cromwell High School, attended International Business College in Fort Wayne and graduated in 1951 from State Police School at Indiana University in Bloomington.
On Sept. 12, 1948, in Kimmell, he married Bonita R. McLallin who survives.

Rex Kreger, 51

Rex David Kreger, 51, went to Heaven on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012. Rex was jogging at Strawtown Koteewi Park when he had a sudden heart attack that took his life.
He lived in Noblesville with the love of his life, his wife Laura. He was the beloved father of Chase and Marybeth.
Rex was born on Sept. 27, 1960, in Pierceton to Jerry and Joyce Kreger. He grew up in Pierceton with his two siblings, Jerry and Susan.

Myrtle Darstein

Myrtle J. Darstein died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
Born May 22, 1919, in Durango, Colo., she was the daughter of Frank and Louise (Dornte) Frech.
Myrtle became a lifelong resident of Aboite Township when the family returned to Fort Wayne in 1932.
She attended Bullard School and graduated from Arcola High School in 1937. Myrtle was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. She will forever be remembered for her graciousness, kindness, strength, love and humor.

Larry Falcone, 64

Larry Alan Falcone, 64, of Huntington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 12:12 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Huntington.
Larry was born Nov. 19, 1947, in Huntington, to Russell and Patricia (Haneline) Falcone. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1966. Larry was inducted into the U.S. Marine Corp in 1967, and served as a corporal in the Vietnam War.

Agnes Wiegman, 85

Agnes Marie “Ann” Wiegman, 85, formally of Irish Lake, North Webster, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Sycamore Village, Fort Wayne where she had been a resident for the past four years.
She was born Jan. 20, 1927, in Marion, a daughter of C. John and Ada Marie (Curtis) Peoples.
Her formative years were spent in Fort Wayne. She graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne with the class of 1945.

Jonathan David Richards

Jonathan David Richards passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
He was born at 5:57 p.m. and died shortly after birth due to complications from type 2 osteogenesis imperfecta.
He was the beloved son of Joe and Heather (Bills) Richards of Columbia City.

Maynard Bosserman, 90

Maynard Bosserman, 90, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne.
Born in Bryan, OH., Maynard worked as a Carpenter/Owner with J.L.Bosserman & Sons General Contractor for more than 50 years, retiring in 1988.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed fishing and camping.
Maynard loved his family and was a very hard worker.

Elaina Singleton, 28

Elaina Michelle Singleton, 28, of Huntington, died on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Ms. Singleton was born in Fort Wayne on Sept. 10, 1983 to Micheal Neal Singleton and Kimberly Elaine (Burns) Singleton.
Elaina graduated from Columbia City High School in 2002.
Surviving relatives include her mother, Kim. Her father preceded her in death on May 8, 2010.
No funeral services are scheduled.
Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne assisted the family with arrangements.

Natalie Bower

Natalie Suzanne Bower, daughter of Randall and Tara (Vandagriff) Bower, was stillborn at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne.
In addition to her parents, surviving relatives include a sister, Joy Olivia Bower, at home; grandparents, Jim and Karen Bower of Columbia City and Walter and Martina Vandagriff of Churubusco and great-grandmothers, Bernice Lauer of Columbia City, Jean Ridgley and Margaret Vandagriff, both of Fort Wayne.
A private family service will be held.
Arrangements are being completed by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
