Mabel Roebuck, 94

Mabel B. Roebuck, 94, formerly of Columbia City, died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at East Lake Nursing & Rehab in Elkhart where she had been a resident since May 1, 2012.
She was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Huntington a daughter of John and Ida (Sell) Voght.
Her formative years were spent in Huntington. She graduated from Clear Creek High School.
In 1935, she was united in marriage to Richard S. Roebuck. They made their home Huntington.
Mr. Roebuck died in October 1972. In 2005, she moved to Columbia City.

Kay Kyler, 68

Kay L. Kyler, 68, of North Webster Lake, died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her home following an extended battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 9, 1945, in Fort Wayne the only child of Leon E. “Bud” and “Mary I. (Lenox) Hamman. A native of South Whitley, she graduated from South Whitley High School. She continued her education at Indiana Institute of Technology.
On Nov. 29, 1985, she was united in marriage to Harry M. Kyler. They made their home in rural South Whitley until moving to their home on North Webster Lake 14 years ago.
