The memorial service for Clive F.G. Dupen, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with the family receiving friends after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Kathy J. Roberts, 57, of rural South Whitley, went to be with the Lord at 10:21 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she was admitted June 11.
She was born Oct. 11, 1955, in Columbia City a daughter of Richard J. and Marilyn J. (Blain) Bolinger. Her formative years were spent in South Whitley. She graduated from Whitko High School in 1974. On Sept. 22, 2009, she married Wayne A. Roberts. They made their home in rural South Whitley.
Larry L. Goss, 81, of Columbia City, passed away at 3 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his residence.
Born Jan. 14, 1932, in Rochester, he was the son of Raymond and Alma (Rosborg) Goss.
He was born and raised in Rochester and graduated from Rochester Joint High School with the Class of 1951.
After graduation he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and spent one year in Korea. He was awarded the Good Conduct, the Korean Service, and the United Nations Service Medals for his service.
Teresa Jean Gotz, 56, of Columbia City, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Born Feb. 26, 1957, in Enid, Okla., she was the daughter of Russel B. and Jacqueline June (Spires) Gotz.
She had lived in Whitley and Allen Counties. She graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1975, Manchester College with a bachelor of science in 1981, Parkview Methodist School of Nursing in 1984, and a Masters of Social Work from IUPUI in 1991.
Mary Jane Pressler, 82, of Columbia City, died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Parkview Oaks where she had been a resident since 2011.
She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Thorncreek Township a daughter of Riley Marion and Lola Ellen (Gause) Pressler. Her formative years were spent in Whitley and Noble Counties.
She was employed at Blue Bell, Knitting Mill in Fort Wayne and Weatherhead.
Lamerl S. Love, 86, of Fort Wayne, died at 4:05 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center where he was admitted Saturday, June 29.
He was born Jan. 14, 1927, in New Albany a son of Walter B. and Ada (Bliss) Love. In 1937, his family moved to Fort Wayne from Palmyra. He graduated from Central High School.
On Feb. 22, 1946, he was united in marriage to Dorothy B. Steele. They made their first home in Columbia City before moving to Fort Wayne. In 1970, they moved to their current home.
A veteran, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard and later the U.S. Army.
Norman A. Gray, 96, of Crooked Lake, died at 4:48 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013.
He was born April 18, 1917 in Crawfordsville, a son of the late Albert and Myrtle (Harwood) Gray.
Surviving relatives include four children, 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Thorn Cemetery, Ormas. Arrangements are by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

Margaret K. Curry, 75, of Columbia City, died at 3:25 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Cyndy, following a year long battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 27, 1937, in Sacremento, Calif. a daughter of Willie and Jane (Sasaki) Uyeki.
Her formative years were spent in California. She graduated from University High School in Los Angeles and continued her education at U.C.L.A.
In 1962, she moved to Columbia City. She worked in the insurance industry and after retirement she worked part time for 17 years at Lassus Bros.
Doris R. Sheets, 83, retired co-owner of Sheets Funeral Home in Churubusco and wife of Lester K. Sheets, passed away at 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her home in Columbia City following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sheets was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Kosciusko County to Marvin H. and Cora A. (Weaver) Leedy.
She spent her formative years in Columbia City where she lived with her parents Roy and Mildred Barnes, and graduated from Columbia City High School in 1947.
James C. Campbell Sr., age 72, of Big Lake, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Born Oct. 30, 1940, at his home in Noble County, he was the son of Claude W. Campbell and Betty (Gibson) Campbell.
He graduated from Indiana State School for the Deaf. On April 3, 1964, he married Barbara Sherman at Merriam Christian Chapel.
He was a machine operator for Viking Inc. for almost 40 years and retired in 2005. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed tying flies and drinking coffee at Goss Grocery with his friends.
