Joycelin A. Cramer, 79, of Columbia City, Ind. passed away at 4:24 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 at her residence. Born Dec. 6, 1931 in Mentone, she was a daughter of Lee L. and Helen N. (Personett) Blue.
She has been a Whitley County resident since her marriage in 1951. She graduated from Bourbon High School in Bourbon, with the Class of 1949. On March 9, 1951, she married Joseph R. Cramer in Columbia City. She worked for Precession Plastics for 13 years.
Alice Kaye Eden Spurlock, of Syracuse was stillborn at 9:04 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.Â She is a daughter of William L. Spurlock and Kaylee A. Barth.
Besides her parents, survivors include a half sister, Chloe Spurlock; grandparents, Donna Barth and Tom and Patty Spurlock; great-grandparents, Bethel Barth and James and Barbara Campbell.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Milford Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Bollenbacher of the New Beginnings Community Church in Atwood officiating.
Marilee J. Fleck, 88, of Columbia City, died at 8:57 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne where she was transported earlier in the day.
She was born March 25, 1923 in South Bend, a daughter of Charles and Frances (Smith) Austin. At the age of five, her family moved to a farm in Richland Township. She graduated from Larwill High School in 1941.
On July 2, 1956 she was united in marriage to Robert W. Fleck. They always made their home in Columbia City. Mr. Fleck died Nov. 10, 1979.
Cynthia Anne Crooks, 69, a resident of Churubusco and wife of David L. Crooks, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Friday April 22, 2011, at Parkview Hospital from a short illness.
Mrs. Crooks was born in Fort Wayne July 23, 1941, a daughter to Howard W. and Margaret (Neher) Wilson. She spent her formative years in Churubusco where she graduated from Churubusco High School in 1959.
Jack Dewitt Schrader, 61, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Oregon City, Ore. He was born May 21, 1949 in Columbia City, a son of Dewitt and Phyllis Schrader.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Schrader; children, Erica Streeton, Sara Schrader and Isaac Schrader; and sister, Ann Akpabio.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. April 30 at the Columbia City United Methodist Church with a reception following.
Memorials may be directed to the VFW of Columbia City.
Evelyn Irene Andorfer, 92, of Columbia City, passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Good Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home. Born Nov. 13, 1918 in Edgerton, she was a daughter of William and Minnie (Longardner) Doty.
Raimund Hawn, 61, a resident of South Whitley, died at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his stepdaughterâ€™s home in North Manchester. He had been battling cancer for the past three years.
He was born Aug. 5, 1949 in Frankfort, Germany, a son of the late Duane E. and Herta (Fischer) Hawn. His formative years were spent in the Larwill area. He graduated from Larwill High School in 1968.
His work career included 21 years at the former Gripco, South Whitley. Following the closing of the South Whitley plant, he started his own cleaning service.
Dee S. Duncan, 54, a resident of rural Churubusco and wife of widely acquainted Churubusco businessman Dale E. Duncan, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the family residence in Smith Township following an illness over three years.
Michael Scott â€śMikeâ€ť Campbell, 47, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at 3:04 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Campbell was born in Fort Wayne Dec. 10, 1963, a son of Robert M. and Janet L. (Redden) Campbell.
The surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Janet and Raymond Gleason, Sr.; and three brothers, David Campbell, Paul Campbell and Chris Campbell.

Mary Catherine Skinner, age 86, of Albion passed away at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion. Born November 6, 1924 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Robert Franklin and Tacy Bernice (Hill) Baker.
A resident of Whitley and Noble counties, she graduated from Wolf Lake High School. On June 29, 1947 she was united in marriage to Bernard G. Skinner by Rev. Marion Shroyer in Columbia City.
