Evelyn Irene Andorfer, 92, of Columbia City, passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Good Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home. Born Nov. 13, 1918 in Edgerton, she was a daughter of William and Minnie (Longardner) Doty.
Raimund Hawn, 61, a resident of South Whitley, died at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his stepdaughterâ€™s home in North Manchester. He had been battling cancer for the past three years.
He was born Aug. 5, 1949 in Frankfort, Germany, a son of the late Duane E. and Herta (Fischer) Hawn. His formative years were spent in the Larwill area. He graduated from Larwill High School in 1968.
His work career included 21 years at the former Gripco, South Whitley. Following the closing of the South Whitley plant, he started his own cleaning service.
Dee S. Duncan, 54, a resident of rural Churubusco and wife of widely acquainted Churubusco businessman Dale E. Duncan, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the family residence in Smith Township following an illness over three years.
Michael Scott â€śMikeâ€ť Campbell, 47, a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at 3:04 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Campbell was born in Fort Wayne Dec. 10, 1963, a son of Robert M. and Janet L. (Redden) Campbell.
The surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Janet and Raymond Gleason, Sr.; and three brothers, David Campbell, Paul Campbell and Chris Campbell.

Mary Catherine Skinner, age 86, of Albion passed away at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion. Born November 6, 1924 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Robert Franklin and Tacy Bernice (Hill) Baker.
A resident of Whitley and Noble counties, she graduated from Wolf Lake High School. On June 29, 1947 she was united in marriage to Bernard G. Skinner by Rev. Marion Shroyer in Columbia City.

Nellene K. Miller, 60, of rural Churubusco, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne where she was admitted on Monday, April 11th.
She was born Dec. 21, 1950 in Wolf Lake, Indiana a daughter of Byron H. and Laura M. (Gump) Miller. Her formative years were spent in Etna Township, Whitley County. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School.
She was employed at Viking in Columbia City and B.R.C. in Churubusco.
As a young girl, she attended West Etna Community Church.

Gregory Mapps, 58, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, April 15, 2011 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
Born in Fort Wayne, Gregory worked as a national chain manager with Gordon Food Services for 22 years.
He was an executive board member for The Lighthouse homeless shelter in Columbia City. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the lake and out on his boat. He loved to water ski, golf, and perform his own lawn maintenance.
He also participated in the Fire and Ice Carving Festival in Columbia City.
Bradley E. Scott, 55, formerly of Wolf Lake, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at IU Health Arnett, Lafayette. He was living at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville.
He was born Jan. 15, 1956 in Noble County, a son of the late John H. and Evelyn L. (Oliver) Scott.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Maria and a daughter, Angie Scott.
George R. Corkwell, 91, of Ellenton, Fla., and also of Albion, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Fla.
Mr. Corkwell was a die setter for General Electric in Fort Wayne for 18 years, retiring in 1982.
He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army serving as staff sergeant in the 38th Division, receiving three Purple Hearts.
He was a member of the Big Lake Church of God in Columbia City.
Danny Lee Bolinger, 56, of Columbia City, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 11, 1954 in Huntington, he was a son of Bill D. and Marylyn J. (Geiger) Bolinger.
A lifetime Columbia City resident, he graduated with the Class of 1973 from Columbia City Joint High School. On May 21, 1977 he married Michelle Trimmer at First Church of God, Columbia City. For 28 years, he worked as a welder for Dana Corporation, Syracuse.
