Bryce G. Fitch, 83, a former resident of Huntertown, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at Life Care Center in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Fitch was born in Huntertown March 27, 1927, a son of Maurice Keith and Lois Marie (Byerley) Fitch.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Huntertown Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hiatt, pastor of Huntertown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow.
Friends may call at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco after 9 a.m. Monday. The cortege will depart the funeral home for the cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
Rosalie Hartman, 70, of Sterling, Colo. passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 in Sterling. Born Aug. 23, 1940 in Pierceton, she was a daughter of Russell and Mary (Merideth) Barnhart.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Ginger Kay Work and a son, Clayton A. Hartman.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Tennant Funeral Home in Sterling.

Carl Fred Montz, 89, of Fort Wayne died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital.
Born March 13, 1921 in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Floyd J. and Anna E. (Schneider) Montz.
He served in the Navy during World War II with his twin brother, the late Clark Montz, on board the Hermitage.
Survivors include his wife, Ina M. (Sheets) Montz.
Martha Lois Londt, 80, of Columbia City passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at 6:35 a.m. at Golden Years Retirement Home, Fort Wayne. Born June 22, 1930 in Albion, she was a daughter of Ernest Cramer and Nora Mae (Richards) Ray.
As a young girl, she attended Larwill School and completed her GED. On Dec. 16, 1978, she married Homer R. Londt in Columbia City. She was a lifetime Whitley County resident until she moved to Allen County in 2008. She worked as an inspector at Dana Weatherhead, Columbia City, where she retired with over 33 years service.
Elaine Marie Stanley, 82, of Columbia City, died at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at The Oaks Living Center where she had been a resident since Dec. 21.
She was born March 8, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of Clarence and Renata (Buenzel) Spoerke. Her formative years were spent in Ohio. She graduated from high school in Canton.
On Sept. 6, 1952 she was united in marriage to Charles B. Stanley. They made their home at Little Cedar Lake until 1955 when they moved to a farm on 300 South.
A homemaker, she worked part-time at Culligan and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Betty Lou Boehme, 85, of Columbia City, Ind., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at her residence on Crooked Lake. Born Sept. 1, 1925 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of George and Reve (Bowers) Kiser.
She attended the Fort Wayne public school system and worked at Magnavox for a short time until her marriage to Eugene A. Boehme Jan. 29, 1948. The couple made their home in Fort Wayne until they moved to Crooked Lake in 1981. She was a member of the Big Lake Church of God, a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary at Wolf Lake and the American Legion Auxiliary in Albion.
Treva Opal Rex, 104, of Ligonier, widow of Roy Rex, died Jan. 25, 2011 at her residence of natural causes. Born March 30, 1906, she was a daughter of Orson O. and Cora Belle (Gibson) Marshall.
Survivors include a son, James L. Rex, and two daughters, Betty Jane Tuvell and Mary Lou Poyser.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South in Ligonier. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain Ken Weaver officiating, Burial is in the Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.
Marie A. Diffendarfer, 84, a resident of Churubusco and widow of Homer A. Diffendarfer, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She had suffered an apparent brain hemorrhage on Thursday, and had been hospitalized since that time.
Mrs. Diffendarfer was born in Smith Township Aug. 16, 1926, a daughter of Roy and Florence Alice (Raypole) Gordon. She spent her formative years in the Churubusco-area, and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1944.
Joe W. Yoder, 71, retired Whitley County Consolidated School teacher, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 19, 2011 in Cape Coral, Fla. after battling cancer for nine months. He taught many years at the Marshall Middle School.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Dee of Cape Coral; a son, Michael (Lynn Hoffman) Yoder of Green Bay, Wis.; a daughter, Shannon (Richard) Berry of Salt Lake City, Utah; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail and Elliott Berry.
A local celebration of life is being planned in June at the Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
Lucille B. Keck, 87, formerly of Columbia City, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Lehigh Acres, Fla. after a lengthy battle with pneumonia and Hodgkinâ€™s lymphoma.
She was born Dec. 12, 1923 in Deadwood, S.D., a daughter of Glen L. and Bertha E. (Winckler) Witmer. When Lucille was four years old, her family moved to Indiana. She attended Washington Township School in Noble County, Etna School and graduated from North Webster High School in 1943.
