Clarence A. Bodas, 73, of Fort Wayne, died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at his home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1937 in Gilbert, Minn. a son of Arthur W. and Turna (Harju) Bodas. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was married to the late Gerry L. (Conley) Clark.
Surviving relatives include four stepchildren, Diane Ryman, Cindy Simmons, David Clark and Douglas Clark; three sisters, Irene Ishmael, Sandra Wells and Connie Bodas; and two brothers, Gerald Bodas and Jack Bodas.
Marcella âMarciâ (Morris) Mullins, 65 passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Riverbend Healthcare in Fort Wayne. She was born in Newport, Ky. on Jan. 21, 1945 to the late Dan and Rosie (McIntosh) Morris and lived in Jackson, Ky. and Columbia City before moving to Fort Wayne.
Tamara Mae âTammyâ Geiger, 45, of Fort Wayne passed away at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at the Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was the daughter of George L. and Eva Mae (Simpson) Geiger.
She is survived by her father; sister, Gail L. Estabrook; and grandmother, Wilma Simpson.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Scott Pattison will officiate.
Agnes I. Hartman, 84, a former resident of Merriam and more recently of Fort Wayne, passed away at 5:23 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Merriam, May 3, 1926, to Olen and Mary Shaffer. She accepted Christ and was baptized at Merriam Christian Chapel. Throughout her life, she profoundly affected the lives of many, but did so in a modest and unassuming way.
Peggy Diane Bradley, 52, of Kimmell, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010.
Born Jan. 29, 1958, she was a daughter of Billy R. and Julia A. (Hollenbacher) Jackson II.
She was a member of the Womenâs Auxiliary of VFW Lodge 4717 in Wolf Lake and the United Methodist Church of Wolf Lake.
Patricia A. âPatâ Clark, 80, a resident of Churubusco, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at the residence of her daughter in Noble County.
Ms. Clark was born in Fort Wayne Feb. 2, 1930, a daughter of James A. and Margaret E. (Morris) Clark.
The surviving relatives include her daughter, Deborah L. Geiger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Dr. Lane Burgland, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, officiating.
Charles E. âCharlieâ Gilbert, 58, a former resident of Churubusco and more recently of Warsaw, was found dead at 1:02 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010 at his home. Although he had suffered some health problems, his death was unexpected.
Mr. Gilbert was born in Columbia City Dec. 2, 1951, a son of Edward E. and Freda E. (Wise) Gilbert. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, and graduated from Churubusco High School. He had previously been employed at Egolfâs IGA in Churubusco and later worked as a self-employed logger in Montana.
Ethel Mae Ewing, 96, of Noble County, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at Northridge Village, Albion.
She was born Oct. 5, 1914 in Sandusky, Ohio, a daughter of Franklin C. and Bertha (Corl) Ellis. She is a widow of Ernest Leland Ewing.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mary A. Clark and Yvonne K. Baker.
The funeral service will be held at noon Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
Jennifer Rinehart Black, 61, of Fort Wayne, died Monday in Parkview Memorial Hospital.
She was born in New Castle Aug. 13, 1949, a daughter of L. Dean and Elaine (Wyatt) Rinehart.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, John Black, executive director of the United Way of Whitley County; a daughter, Laura Black; her mother, Elaine Rinehart; and a brother, Brad Rinehart.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown with Rev. Ray Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Cambridge City. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Mildred Pauline Harreld, 95, a former resident of Ege and more recently of Snellville, Ga., passed away at 8:24 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 at Golden Living-Medical Arts in Lawrenceville, Ga.
She was born June 3, 1915 in Marion, a daughter of Paul and Mildred (Smith) Dooley. She is a widow of Albert M. Harreld.
The surviving relatives include her daughters, Alberta Sams and Arlene Owens; and two brothers, Merrill Dean Dooley and Melvin âMickâ Dooley.
