Margaret E. Geiger, 93, of Columbia City, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at The Oaks.
Born April 15, 1921 in Whitley County, she was the daughter of John F. and Mabel A. (Jagger) Hazen.
She was a lifetime resident of Whitley County. She graduated from Churubusco High School with the Class of 1939. On April 5, 1941, she married Russell J. Geiger in South Whitley.

Reverend Emmett Loyd Anderson, of Grace Village Retirement Community, of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Grace Village Health Care at the age of 83.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 14 years where he was a member of the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church, and Warsaw Kiwanis Club member for many years.

Beverly Elaine Ruse, 63, of rural South Whitley, died at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at Peabody Home in North Manchester where she had been a resident since July.
She was born May 9, 1951 in Muncie, a daughter of Orville and Opal (Howell) Breedlove. As a little girl, her family moved to North Webster. She attended North Webster High School.
On April 4, 1968, she was united in marriage to Walter A. Ruse. They made their home in Pierceton until 1972 when they moved to their home southwest of South Whitley.

Roger L. Hill, 66, of Columbia City, died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing, Fort Wayne where he had been a resident since June.
He was born Aug. 4, 1948 in Noble County, a son of Donald E. and Fay Esther (Osborn) Hill. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School.
A U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired from Dana Weatherhead with 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Leatherneck Coffee Club.

Danny Joe Gray, 58, of South Whitley, passed away at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at his home.
Born Jan. 18, 1956 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Muris Gray and Lillian A. Ness.
He graduated from Columbia City High School Class of 1975. On Oct. 21, 1989 he married Debra â€śDebbieâ€ť Languell. He had worked at Dana Weatherhead in Columbia City, OMC Aluminum Boat Group in Syracuse and at Ultra Electronics in Columbia City. Danny had been a member of the Elkâ€™s Lodge, Eagles Lodge and Jaycees.

Rickie A. Hunnicutt, 61, a lifelong Allen County resident, died at 8:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 at his home of natural causes.
He was born March 17, 1953 in Wolf Lake, a son of Vaughn E. and Virginia I. (Stuver) Hunnicutt. He graduated from Carroll High School.
On June 24, 1972, he was united in marriage to Cynthia L. Trimmer.
An employee of Dana Corp. since 1978, he was also a general contractor, operating Hunnicutt Construction.
He was a member of First Church of God in Columbia City.

Rosalie A. Hilsmier, 76, of Columbia City, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake.
Born Aug. 16, 1938 in Payne, OH., she was the daughter of Harry and Maxine (Lee) McPherson.
She graduated from Payne High School with the Class of 1956. She worked at Magnavox and Raytheon in Fort Wayne and Columbia City.

Sharon E. Stephens, 55, of Columbia City, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Born July 27, 1959 in Alexandria, La., she was the daughter of Ralph and LaVonne (Hobbs) Galway.
Sharon attended and graduated from Colorado Springs High School with the Class of 1978. Following that, she received extensive training from Bob Evans in restaurant management. She was most recently the restaurant manager of Northside Grill in Columbia City.

Douglas J. Harding, 46, of rural Edon, Ohio, died at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, in his home.
Mr. Harding was a graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Texas as an Avionics Technician for F-4 fighter jets.
He was employed by Glenbrook Dodge and Don Ayres Honda in Fort Wayne for many years in auto finance and sales and was also a former co-owner of Ritaâ€™s Restaurant in Edgerton, OH.

Mary B. Pepple, 71, a resident of Union Township, died at 11:03 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 in the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 13, 1943 in Berne, a daughter of Raymond Henry and Donna V. Weaver Snyder.
Her formative years were spent in Decatur, where she completed her formal education.
On Jan. 13, 1961, she was united in marriage to Gene Pepple and they spent most of their married life in the Columbia City community.
