After 520 wins under Hall of Fame coach Wayne Kreiger, Columbia City will be looking for its first under Amy Shearer, if the WCCS board OKs her at its meeting Monday.

WARSAW — One day after opening the season, it’s back to the heat and grind of the busy girls’ golf schedule for Columbia City.
Wednesday, the Lady Eagles followed up a ninth-place finish in the Snider Invitational with its first dual match of the season at Stonehenge Country Club.
Columbia City took on the Lady Tigers of Warsaw struggling in the heat of the summer sun.
With two golfers in the 40s, it wasn’t enough for City as it lost 185-199.
