Rehrer turns dream into reality

   COLUMBIA CITY — After 5,308 passing yards and nearly every conceivable throwing record at Columbia City High School, senior quarterback Logan Rehrer as he says in his own words “ready to take it to the next level.”
   Friday, the Eagles all-time passing leader announced he’s taking his talents to Indiana State University.
   Rehrer joins the Division I Sycamores of the Missouri Valley Conference as a preferred walk-on.

SECTIONAL CHAMPS: City overcomes double digit deficit for title

   SYRACUSE — Embroiled in their first sectional title game in five years against a Wawasee team that has had their number over the past several seasons, the Columbia City Eagles dealt out the losing to the Warriors after facing a 12-point first quarter deficit to take a nine-point lead of their own.
   With the game coming down to a single possession, the Eagles needed a defensive rebound on a missed Wawasee free throw to claim the class 3A Wawasee sectional title 67-66 over the host Warriors.
