CHURUBUSCO — Another weekend in the Indiana high school girls’ track and field season had another title go home with Columbia City.
Saturday, the Lady Eagles claimed their second consecutive weekend title at the Churubusco Turtletown Invitational.
The Lady Eagles beat Warsaw in the large school “Gold” division with 23.5 points to spare, 115.5-88.
GOSHEN — Whitko boys’ track head coach Ron Cherry called it a total team effort after his Wildcats went to the Goshen Relays Saturday.
A total of 102 points was the most Whitko had ever scored at the event.
Despite the showing, the Wildcats came home runner-up to Fairfield in the class B division.

CHURUBUSCO — “It’s probably the best girls meet I’ve ever been a part of.”
That’s all Churubusco girls’ track head coach Zack Dock could say after his Lady Eagles owned the Turtletown Invitational Saturday.
For the first time since 1991, Churubusco came away as the top team at its own weekend invitational.
