Fresh faces at state finals

   FORT WAYNE — “The Northrop Regional tonight was on fire,” Columbia City head coach Bob Fahl said Tuesday.
   So were Samantha Roush and Renee Menzie.
   The two Lady Eagles used school record paces at Tuesday’s regional round to reach Saturday’s state finals at Indiana University.

’Busco uprooted from sectional

May 25, 2011

   GARRETT — For a moment, Churubusco softball seemed to have everything going its way Tuesday.
   The Lady Eagles opened the class 2A Garrett sectional against Eastside. After trailing 2-1, the Lady Blazers scored seven unanswered runs to bump ’Busco from the tournament.
