Churubusco hosts blowout

CHURUBUSCO - The loss of senior standout wide receiver Layne Fulk wasn’t enough to slow down Churubusco Friday night against Eastside.
The Eagles football team relied on their rushing attack and stingy defense to get the 39-6 win to remain undefeated at ’Busco’s homecoming game.

Eagles win streak killed by Homestead

September 9, 2011

FORT WAYNE — There are times when statistics do not give a true picture of what happened during a ball game. That was not the case Friday night when the Columbia City Eagle football team traveled to Homestead in a showdown of Northeast Hoosier Conference “unbeatens.”
The Spartans racked up over 500 yards of total offense in the first half on their way to a 52-13 win.
