SOUTH WHITLEY — After battling through a neck-and-neck first set, Columbia City’s volleyball team squashed DeKalb in the second set of the championship game at Whitko’s volleyball invitational Saturday.

The Lady Eagles were undefeated in pool play, only losing one set to Prairie Heights earlier in the day.

The first set of the final game was back-and-forth between DeKalb and Columbia City, being tied multiple times throughout.
