FORT WAYNE — Despite Columbia City Drew Benedict’s 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range, 15-1 Northrop beat the Eagles 70-56 Tuesday night in Fort Wayne.

Northrop’s stand-out brothers Brenton and Bryson Scott combined for 42 of the Bruins 70 points. Bryson shot 13-of-16 from the field and led the team with nine rebounds, putting on quite a show for Purdue Head Coach Matt Painter, who attended the game in attempt to recruit the Scott brothers.

Northrop jumped out to a 10-2 lead early in the game thanks to 11 points from Bryson Scott in the first quarter.
