April 29, 2012

SOUTH WHITLEY — Saturday’s baseball double header between the Whitko Wildcats and the Southern Wells Raiders was delayed by rain, and the weather had the players and fans wondering if snow might also be a possibility.

The two games took very different routes to the same end.

In game one, the Wildcats broke on top with a big lead and then held on for a 10-6 win while in game two the host Wildcats had to come from behind several times to take a 12-9 win over the Raiders.
