SOUTH WHITLEY â€” Whitkoâ€™s softball team won 8-2 over Manchester on senior night Wednesday.
The Lady Wildcats faced a 2-1 deficit after the first inning, but retaliated in the third frame, scoring six runs to take a 7-2 lead.
Hannah Himes scored her second run of the night in the fourth frame for the last run of the night.
Pitcher Karissa Olinske also had two runs.
Whitkoâ€™s seniors are Taylor Lott, Karissa Olinske, Audra Day, Lynsi Hicks and Cassie Jones.
The Lady Wildcats are back in action Saturday at Heritage.
