Churubuscoâ€™s baseball and softball teams are traveling to Concordia today to face the Cadets for double headers.

HAMILTON â€” Churubuscoâ€™s boys and girls track teams both beat Hamilton and Fremont in a three-way Northeast Corner Conference meet.
Between the two teams, the boys and girls collected 19 first-place finishes.
In the boys match, the Eagles won with 117 points, followed by Fremont with 97 and Hamilton with 24.
The girls scored 105 points, ousting Fremont, which had 91 points, and Hamilton (24).
The Eagles host the Northeast Corner Conference meet Tuesday.
CHURUBUSCO â€” Churubuscoâ€™s girls tennis team fell to Angola and West Noble this week, both by a score of 5-0.
Against Angola Tuesday, No. 3 singles Kayleen Mitchell and No. 1 doubles Maggie Kitt and Katee Baxter were the lone players to win a set, both falling 6-0, 6-1.
The rest of the matches lost by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Madi Cook played the No. 1 singles match and Nikki Esslinger had No. 2. Alexis Helbert and Kaley Scott played the No. 2 doubles match.
The Lady Eagles posted a similar score against West Noble.
NEW HAVEN â€” Columbia City dropped a 8-7 decision to New Haven Thursday night in extra innings at New Haven High School.
The Eaglesâ€™ record falls to 9-6 while the Bulldogs improve to 12-4. The Eagles are now 1-3 against Northeast Hoosier Conference opponents.
Columbia City scored seven runs on 10 hits with five errors. New Haven scored eight runs with 12 hits and no errors.
Columbia City shortstop Brandon Gay drilled two doubles in the game, while right fielder Landon Rehrer and left fielder Austin Clark each hit a double.
