COLUMBIA CITY — Even if you’ve traveled the world like Scott Moore has, home is where your heart is.
“It doesn’t matter where it is, but the town where your family and friends are — that’s what I call home,” said Scott Moore, 27.
Moore has settled down in an area where he can be surrounded by loved ones.
Once a globe-trotting professional basketball player, he feels like he’s living the dream now that he is employed as the new personal trainer at Anytime Fitness in Columbia City.
CHURUBUSCO — The battle for Whitley County high school volleyball supremacy entered its initial phase Tuesday evening as the Whitko Lady Wildcats traveled up Ind. 205 to take on the host, the Churubusco Lady Eagles.
The Lady Eagles ran the table on the visiting Lady Wildcats as they took the Varsity, JV and C-team matches, ending all in straight set wins.
’Busco took the varsity match by a 25-25,25-16, 25-18 count. Churubusco took the JV match by a 25-20, 25-11 count, and the C-team contest by a 25-22, 25-19 score.
