FORT WAYNE — A scoring drought that lasted the final six minutes of the ball game allowed the host Northrop Lady Bruins to go on an 11-0 run and take a come-from-behind, 36-30, win over the visiting Columbia City Lady Eagle basketball team Tuesday night.
The Bruins held a 19-15 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Eagles were able to score from both the field and the free-throw line.
A basket and two free throws by Emily Whiteleather brought the Eagles within four at 25-21.
A 3-pointer by Alyssa Hansen brought the Eagles to within one at 25-24.
