Conference champs

The Indian Springs Middle School varsity girls took a moment to relax after racing to a hard fought victory as NEL Middle School Conference champs Saturday at Wawasee Middle School.

The girls edged out Wawasee by just one point in the eight-team race.

The ISMS reserve girls squad also took first place out of the eight teams.

Prep volleyball pairings announced

INDIANAPOLIS — With 402 teams entered for the second year in a row, initial matchups for the 42nd Annual IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament were announced this morning.

Sectional play begins Tuesday, Oct. 22, and continues through Saturday, Oct. 26, at 64 sites across the four enrollment classifications.
