Recap: Lady Eagles end season on high note

February 25, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — One tournament made all the difference in Columbia City’s girls basketball’s season.

The Lady Eagles had been struggling with a nine-game losing streak, a difficult 2-12 record and several competitive losses in the first part of their season.

Columbia City competed in the two-day, Northridge Holiday tournament in late December — and that’s when the tables turned.

Though the Lady Eagles fell in the first three games, the fourth game was a totally different performance.
