Churubusco’s softball team found itself behind more than once in Wednesday’s loss to Adams Central, but several times the Lady Eagles clawed back to make the game close again.

The Lady Flyin’ Jets defeated ‘Busco by a football-like score of 16-13, and just like the gridiron, there were offensive flurries from both sides and power on display.

Offensively, the game was tight in the early going. A first inning solo shot and home run blast in the fifth helped Adams Central open up a 5-1 lead. But ‘Busco responded.
