GARRETT — Improving to 3-0 on the young season, Columbia City Head Volleyball Coach Trish Hinen is still seeking the right combination.

After defeating Garrett on the road Tuesday evening, Hinen said, “Overall we did a good job. But I’m still trying to find the best team chemistry on the court.”

The Lady Eagles disposed the Railroaders in three games — 25-21, 25-17 and 25-20.

On a very hot night, with no air conditioning in the Garrett gymnasium, Columbia City showed no ill-effects to the stifling heat.
