Columbia City's boys basketball team topped Bellmont by 40 points Friday.
FORT WAYNE â For Columbia Cityâs fifth game in five days, head basketball coach Chris Benedict is pleased.
âSometimes it might not be the prettiest, but our guys make the plays to win the basketball game,â Benedict said. âThey do a really good job of finding a way to get the job done.â
Columbia City topped Northridge 59-48 at the Memorial Coliseum Tuesday night in the Super Hoops Classic.
The Eagles were far from their 90 percent 3-point shooting display against Whitko in the season-opener. In fact, Columbia City shot 17 percent from behind the arc, one of the worst of the season.
