SYRACUSE — After a 100-stroke victory Thursday, Columbia City’s girls golf team struggled through the Wawasee Invitational Saturday morning. Though placing fourth, the Lady Eagles’ individual and overall scores were much higher than Thursday’s 181 in 9 holes.

COLUMBIA CITY — With four golfers posting scores under 50, the Columbia City Lady Eagle golf squad downed the visiting North Side Lady Redskins by more than 100 strokes, tagging the visitors with a 181-289 loss Thursday afternoon at the Eagle Glen Golf Course.

The Columbia City Diamond Girls warm up their bats before their final game of the summer season at the City Slam Tournament Saturday at Morsches Park. The event, hosted by the Columbia City Park Department’s Softball Board, had 10 teams from around the area.

COLUMBIA CITY — After an impressive win over Warsaw Monday afternoon, Columbia City’s girls golf team returned to its home course Tuesday evening to host Northeast Hoosier Conference foe Carroll. Though the Lady Eagles posted their best score of the season so far, the NHC powerhouse Lady Chargers took a 185-196 victory at Eagle Glen Golf Course.
