HAMILTON — Churubusco’s softball team defeated Northeast Corner Conference-rival Hamilton Thursday night.
The Lady Eagles were 9-1 victors in the road win.
In the circle, Courtney Luttman keyed the ‘Busco charge.
She pitched seven innings, allowing just one run and striking out eight and scattering eight hits.
Offensively, Elaine Horn helped lead Churubusco by going 3-for-3.
Luttman was one of two Lady Eagles to get two hits. She was 2-of-4, as was Chandler Blake. Both had one RBI as well.
Blake and Kellary Crabil both had a double with Crabil driving in two runs.
