’Busco softball falls in difficult 25-6 game

April 23, 2013

CHURUBUSCO — Normally, when a team scores six runs in a high school softball game they can expect to be in the thick of things.

But that doesn’t apply when the other teams scores 10 runs in the first inning alone — sending 15 batters to the plate in the same inning.

The Churubusco Lady Eagle softball team found itself on the wrong side of that situation as it dropped a 25-6 contest to a hard-hitting Concordia team in a non-conference contest Monday evening at the Churubusco diamond.

The Eagles found themselves in a 10-0 hole at the end of the first inning.
